Dr. James Meany, a native of Waterloo, Iowa, received his Doctorate in Optometry in 1985 and his B.S. in Optics in 1983 from the University of Houston. The Texas Optometric Board endorsed him as a Therapeutic Optometrist in 1997 and as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist in 2000.
Dr. Meany specializes in comprehensive eye care, including pre- and post-operative cataracts and refractive surgeries, therapeutic treatment of ocular diseases, and manages refractive, functional, pathological, and contact lens-related problems.
Dr. Meany is a U.S. Army veteran and lives with his wife in Harker Heights, Texas. They have one son who resides and works in the San Marcos, TX area.
Dr. Jaime Falco has been in practice for over 10 years. Before pursuing optometry at the Indiana University School of Optometry she completed degrees in Vertebrate Biology and Human Development and Family Studies at the Pennsylvania State University. Her vast optometric experience includes pediatrics, geriatrics, over 100,000 contact lens fits, and proactive health management.
She is the author of three nationally accredited lectures, consults for pharmaceutical and nutritional companies, and has been interviewed by over 20 national publications and blogs in the areas of health, wellness, and nutrition.
Dr. Falco’s passion for health and happiness lead her to pursue an education in both Eastern and Western medicine; she has completed over 200 hours of studies and coursework in vinyasa yoga and yogi studies. Licensed in several states, Dr. Falco practices at the highest level of optometry and is constantly researching new and innovative techniques and treatments to help patients see and feel great. When she’s not helping people see and live their best lives, Dr. Falco enjoys traveling, visiting museums, wildlife photography, and outdoor activities. She adores her husband, toddler, and coffee.
